Sachin Ala Re!

Yesss......and he is back with a bang. It was one of the best innings by him in recent times. When he came to bat, the platform was beautifully set by Ganguly and Dravid, though Dravid was finding it little hard to nudge ball around for quick runs. But, Tendulkar seemed to be in totally different mood. He was running hard for ones, twos and also managed to get that odd boundary. He took on weak bowlers and weak fielders. On one occasion, Chanderpaul was awed when Tendulkar ran for second after he made an underarm throw to the keeper. It was an intelligent and beautifully pasted innings. He decided to take second fiddle when Dhoni walked onto the field, but also took odd risk. That gave India 130-odd runs in last 13 overs. It was wonderful to watch him bat today which produced his second fastest hundred( 76 balls 100 ). That six of Samuels was one of the big hits of the match.
He also showed one of the traits which makes him great....he makes his bat do all the talking. That should shun the critics.

Indeed a good knock. I am tempted to say a great knock, but that word is used too loosely now-a-days.

Yes this innings was one of the great ones.... and good to see that his century came good in a win for India.

This definitely was a superb knock. There was never a question about the Little Master's talent or hunger for runs. I guess it was just a matter of time. And the time did come yesterday .Yesterday we all saw what can be said as a Perfect and Calculated Batting Display by the team with all of em doing good and more importantly batting according to the situation.
They will need to do this pretty often if they are going to win the world cup.

We must also appreciate Saurav Ganguly's knock.... he palyed intelligently putting pressure on the bowlers.... he was keen on putting balls to the boundary early in the over and put pressure.... good aggressive intent
